Charity

The third and most engaging objective of TACC-Friends is charity which is the assistance of very needy brethren. We define very needy brethren as born again believers who are desperate for assistance. The categories of very needy brethren we consider are widows, orphans and the persecuted (those suffering as a result of persecution for their faith in Jesus Christ). At the moment preference is given to the last category due to the urgency of these cases.

The selection process is coordinated by our Liaison Officers. The Liaison Officer presents periodic updates to the president as necessary for evaluation. (Please see the link for Liaison Officers for details on the selection process).

It is hoped that the assistance will enable brethren become financially independent thereby strengthening their faith in the Lord Jesus Christ. We hope that their testimony will encourage relatives and friends to hope in the Lord Jesus Christ as well. We believe that financially independent brethren will help build a viable church that would spread the gospel of Jesus Christ further.

A new cycle for assistance begins after our National Convention in May and ends before the next convention. The National Convention is our only Fundraising occasion. However we are open to public donations throughout the year. A 100% of all donations go to helping the needy.
