Mrs Christina Fuh (June 2021)

Jun 30, 2021

The case of Mrs. CHRISTINA FUH was brought to TAC-FRIENDS in June 2021 by the Charity coordinator, Pst. Prosper. Mrs. Christina is a teacher and wife of Mr Ambe Henry and blessed with three boys. At the time of this reach out, due to the ongoing Anglophone crisis in the North and South West Region of Cameroon, Christina had moved with her entire family from Ndop, Cameroon Where she was teaching and volunteering as a community mobilizer with Plan Cameroon which promotes girl child education and advocates against gender base violence. She moved to Limbe and continued volunteering with the Environmental protection and Development Association. The husband is a builder who has been struggling to find business given his new environment. Shortly after relocation to Limbe, Christina began having serious health issues including Ovarian Cyst, Liver cirrhosis, Ascites (fluid buildup in abdomen) just to name a few. At the time of visit, Christina had spent over 430,000frs seeking treatment and the doctors were demanding additional 600,000frs to continue treatment. All these challenges drained their finances leaving the family in debts and unable to continue treatment. 500,000frs was sent through our liaison officers to offer assistance to Mrs Christina. They did receive our assistance with joy and she was able to continue treatment as can be seen via the YouTube links below.
