Victims of Cameroon’s Brutality

Dec 31, 2018

In light of the unrest in Cameroon, numerous families have been displaced. Some have fled to Nigeria as refugees leaving behind their belongings and livelihood. Among the refugees are vulnerable populations, majority of which are pregnant women and children. TACC-Friends through the HHS representative in Nigeria sent $1300 to assist them.

Furthermore, many people sustained injuries and were hospitalized. Some of them required surgery. Unfortunately, some of these victims could not afford to pay for their medical expenses. TACC-Friends helped to pay for the hospital bills and medical expenses for two of the wounded at Mount Mary hospital in Buea. Through THE Southern Cameroons Ambazonia Consortium United Front (SCACUF), two of the victims, T.F. and M.G., were supported with an amount of 274,750 FCFA ($500).
