Sister Jacqueline is the wife of Bro. Parfait Lobe (see case 2012-2013 #1). Her illness started in 2002 with a diagnosis of hypertension with a Blood Pressure of 240/110 mmHg. In 2004 it went up to 300/120 mmHg with violent headaches, reduction in vision, loss of the sense of smell till date, irregular heart beat and gastritis. In 2010, she was in a coma for 2 days in a hospital and was revived. In 2011 she went into a coma again for 2 days in her house; her husband could not take her to the hospital for lack of money. Miraculously, she was revived. In 2012 went into another coma at home. Usually, these comas occur after a serious breakdown in health). This time it lasted for a day and she was revived again. She has had multiple blood transfusions.
In December 2012, she was diagnosed with bilateral pyelonephritis (kidney infection). One week prior to her diagnosis she vomited for three days continuously. She was taken to the hospital, transfused four pints of blood alongside other medical treatments. At this time (February 2013), she has swollen legs or pitting edema, sometime her face will swell up as well. She also complains of intermittent violent headaches. No CT Scan has been done due to the lack of money, though specialists have recommended it over and over again. An endoscopy was done and revealed some wounds in the gastric lining. She is physically very weak and can hardly come out of the house for fear that she may fall on trying to walk. Her husband is also affected by her illness; he is currently suffering from insomnia. He also complained of neck pain at one time when he spent four nights without sleep because his wife was in constant pain.
Our Liaison Officer for this case, Bro. Ebune suggested the following tests to be done on her besides praying praying hard to destroy any covenant of suffering of any kind.
– Do kidney and liver function tests to ascertain if she needs dialysis.-14000FRS
– Repeat endoscopy to see if there is progress in healing after the treatment she took.-40000FRS
– To do a pelvic echo to rule out uterine fibroids since she complains of lower abdominal pain.-7000FRS
– Do a head scan to R/o any brain accident since she’s been having violent headaches for too long now.-105 000FRS
– Do urinalysis, C-Reactive protein, FBC, and toxoplasma serology to be certain of her immune systems’ status, etc.-19500FRS
