Mama Susan Ashu is a widow with two teenage daughters. She was also the women’s leader in TACC Kumba. In February 2011, she lost her entire house and property to a ravaging fire. We’re thankful to God that their lives were saved. In March 2011, TACC-Friends USA, China and the UK came together with a contribution to help her start her life over again. TACC-Friends USA and China contributed $600 and TACC-Friends UK £200. The total contribution was in the neighborhood of 500, 000 FCFA ($1000). Bro. John Egyawan was our liaison in this maiden charity case. The gift was a surprise to Mama Susan who received it with tears rolling down her eyes. This assistance helped her to complete the purchase of a piece of land and to start her life over again.
